The Point of Jazz is a jazz collective led by graduates of the music department at University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. This week the house rhythm section consists of Kadin Yach (p) Jessie Crandall (b) and Colt Maichle (d) Every Thursday the group plays at Stone Arch Brewpub in Appleton Wisconsin from 7:30-9:30PM. They play a one hour set featuring that week’s guest artist, then open the floor for community members to join in on their respective instruments. This week‘s featured artist is B.D. Greer.

B.D. Greer is a vocalist with a background in R&B, jazz, blues, and soul. Originally from Wisconsin, she lived in New York for 21 years before returning to Wisconsin in 2020. She’s been making a name for herself in and around Milwaukee since.
