Stephie James overturns Nashville’s hat and boot culture with her own Iggy Pop-meets-Judy Garland panache. Born and raised in Detroit, she borrows a storytelling tradition of songwriting, but fuses it with 60's girl group sounds, echoing The Shirelles and The Marvelettes’ “Please Mr. Postman.” Her sound is subtly subversive—at one turn familiar and nostalgic, while simultaneously evoking the dawn of something new.
Our Spruce Tip Imperial IPA pours a warm copper hue and bursts with pine and orange aroma. Fresh spruce tips add a hint of Christmas tree, while lemon zest and bright citrus notes from Amarillo, Cascade, and Zeus hops balance the rich, resinous depth. At 8% ABV and 61 IBU, it’s a bold yet refreshing blend of pine and citrus.
